The Firehouse Hotel is a heritage-listed building built in 1895, the building has a Victorian Italianate style and was the original firehouse of North Sydney, it was designed for when horse-drawn carriages were used for Fire Brigade services.

The Firehouse Hotel is located in North Sydney, on the busy street of Walker St., The main facade is protected by the government as an example of Victorian Italianate architecture. It was converted to a pub/restaurant during the 1970s.

The area where is located in a commercial district of North Sydney, the second-largest concentration of office buildings in New South Wales, where there are 7,705 residents, of
which 48.8% are male, 51.2% are female with
The median age of 35.

The owner wants to renovate the look of the ground floor of the Fire House Hotel. He wants to attract business professionals and people from the new 35-story hotel and corporate tower close to the pub.

With such a unique heritage there is an opportunity to take advantage of the recognized firehouse hotel and maximize the concept by creating a pub about its history and fire, It will be a cozy, space that invites people to relax and connect with people.

The palette will represent the different tonalities
of the fire. I will incorporate some elements from the architecture of the building into the design, such as arches and curves.
